ABOUT LAUREL LAKES
Every spring, Lake Lure NC comes alive with mountain laurel. Its deep green leaves are the ideal backdrop for the bright pink, white, and red flowers. That was the inspiration for the Lake Lure community of Laurel Lakes. In 2001, approximately 175 acres rich in laurel were selected as the site for this development. Gentle rolling land, mature flora, spectacular long range mountain views, and tranquil streams provide the ideal setting for mountain living.
Approximately 50 lots between one and three acres were carefully placed to insure privacy. Residents enjoy an established community with paved roads, and underground utilities. Most homes in Laurel Lakes are log, and there’s a nice mix of full time and part time residents. The location just northeast of Lake Lure is ideal.
